Position Summary:
Hillwood Energy is seeking a Cash Accountant to support the treasury and cash management functions of our growing team in Fort Worth, Texas. This role assists in managing cash balances, performing cash reconciliations, processing treasury transactions, and maintaining banking relationships, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial controls. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with internal teams and external banking partners.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily reconciliation of cash and investment balances.
- Process outgoing wire transfers and incoming cash flows with accuracy.
- Forecast period-end cash and investment balances to support financial planning.
- Assist with monthly close procedures and account reconciliations.
- Execute internal control procedures for external payments to ensure compliance and security.

- Detail-oriented and self-motivated with a proactive approach to accuracy.
- Ability to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines.

- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Adaptability and flexibility to learn and apply new business software.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience required.
- Experience with cash management, treasury, or financial reconciliation required.
- Prior Oil & Gas industry and software experience are highly preferred.
