Summary:
The Budget Controller Specialist will be responsible for monitoring financial performance, analyzing expenditures and ensuring efficient resource allocation while also ensuring smooth communication with both English and Korean speaking stakeholders. During the company settlement period, this role will be required to perform related AP (Account Payable) tasks together under the direction of the head of finance management, this role will be performed using SAP and internally develop systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the organization’s budget, ensuring alignment with financial goals
- Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions
- prepare financial reports, forecasts, and cost analysis for management
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
- collaborate with field team to optimize financial planning and resource allocation
- Identify area for cost reduction and efficiency improvement
- Assist in financial audits and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Perform AP tasks
- Perform additional tasks and duties as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required
- Fluency in both English and Korean (written and spoken) Required
Experience:
- 1 to 3 experiences in budgeting, finance analysis or cost control (if AP experience, preferred)
- Experience working at a large company (preferred)
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports
- Knowledge of federal, state financial regulations and reporting standards
- Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications
- Financial modeling with Microsoft excel, and budgeting software
