In this role, you will play a key part in supporting operations by designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems across our state-of-the-art battery manufacturing facility. You will work cross-functionally to enhance equipment performance, system reliability, and workplace safety while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Apply electrical engineering expertise to support business operations and facility planning.
- Design and specify electrical systems and components to support facility operations and production equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to reduce downtime and improve system efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all electrical systems, including drawings, test results, and system configurations
- Communicate critical system updates and changes to operations and maintenance teams.
- Provide training and technical support to facility personnel regarding system enhancements and safety protocols
- Collaborate with internal departments on both planned and unplanned projects involving electrical modifications to support process improvements and equipment upgrades
- Ensure all building electrical systems meet capacity, reliability, and safety standards required for production and customer needs
- Oversee planning, testing, and maintenance of the facility’s 120 MVA power distribution system ranging from 25 kV to 120 V
- Drive continuous improvement by implementing new technologies and replacing aging infrastructure as needed
- Review and approve engineering designs and construction drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Prepare and present technical reports, project schedules, and updates to leadership and stakeholders
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of facility and operational goals
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field
- 1 to 3 years of experience managing electrical engineering or facility infrastructure projects
- Experience in manufacturing environments; battery production experience is highly desirable
- Strong background in electrical distribution systems, components, and controls
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
- Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, safety standards, and facility codes
- Korean language proficiency is a plus, but not required
