Job Purpose:
Business Operational Strategist performs an in-depth analysis of operational issues, streamlines incumbent business processes, and support enterprise-level operational innovation with respect to technology standpoint
Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed):
- Business Process Innovation
- Perform desk research operational enhancement cases of global automotive part suppliers
- Conduct in-depth analysis on operational and financial performance data to identify operational issues across major business processes or systems
- Recommend improvement initiatives to relevant teams and monitor whether the initiatives have been executed
- Perform desk research operational enhancement cases of global automotive part suppliers
- Operational Strategy
- Analyze data and find facts to identify operational issues and recommend and establish operational strategy to resolve the issues
- Collaborate with all functional teams to enhance cost and operational effectiveness
- Analyze data and find facts to identify operational issues and recommend and establish operational strategy to resolve the issues
- Process Documentation
- Lead process in-charge persons to document process outlines, flowcharts, and business policies
- Provide practical guidance on how to use the global process management system to the process in-charge persons
- Digital transformation
- Provide vital assistance on smart factory implementation project in collaboration with AI start-ups or Academia
- Support Global ERP and supply chain system implementation for the flawless execution of projects
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related major from an accredited institution in United States
- MBA or MS in Strategy, Process Reengineering or Technology Management preferred
- Experience in SCM process is preferred
- 5 ~ 12 years of operational strategy, business process innovation, or equivalent years’ relevant experience/education
- Experience in the management consultancy or automotive industry preferred
Technical Competencies:
- Proficiency in Microsoft office
- Experience with ERP (SAP) or WMS preferred
- Knowledge of cutting edge technologies: AI, Big Data Analytics, Industrial IoT, RPA
Non-Technical Competencies:
- Ability to identify problems, analytic/problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships across all levels and functions
