Job Summary:
The Financial Planning Manager at HL MANDO R&D Center is responsible for planning and managing fixed asset investments, annual expense budgets, and controlling ordinary budget spending. This role involves analyzing financial data, monitoring budget performance, and preparing detailed monthly and annual financial reports to support executive decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, expertise in financial planning, and experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and report financial statements, sales performance, and income statements to support management using ERP systems.
- Plan and manage Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) and Expense Budgets, ensuring efficient budget control.
- Oversee and maintain the ERP Budget & Cost Module to ensure accurate financial tracking.
- Lead monthly financial closing activities and reconciliation processes.
- Prepare and present ad-hoc financial reports and management reviews as requested.
- Develop strategies to reduce costs and optimize expenses while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Forecast annual budgets and business plans, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, or cost management.
- Bilingual in Korean and English is required.
Education & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Experience with financial planning, forecasting, and cost control in a corporate setting.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong business acumen with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in SAP, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Excellent strategic thinking, analytical skills, and financial modeling expertise.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to drive efficiency and cost savings.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights clearly.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
