What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift position at HL Mando America Corp?
Job Purpose:
Responsible for the upkeep and repair of all plant/facility equipment and the performing of preventive/predictive maintenance as required, preventing unnecessary downtime.
Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed):
- Responsible for electrical, robotic and controls repair on all plant equipment
- Set-up machines for production
- Connect electrical ,pneumatic and hydraulic lines to equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Install replacement parts and order parts as necessary
- Install, maintain and repair equipment including, but not limited to, piping, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Assure that all aspects of work conform to Company safety practices
- Assist assigned operator in try-out of equipment upon completion of servicing.
Qualifications:
- Ability to interpret electrical prints for troubleshooting purposes
- Familiar with computers and the installation and operation of programs
- Knowledge in troubleshooting, repair and installation of PLCs
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code
- Knowledge of Safe Operating Procedures relating to hot work in panels
- Ability to accurately install electric conduit
- Knowledge of proper sizing of wiring and capacity of conduit
- Knowledge of robotics and the programming of robots
- Ability to operate personnel lifts safely and effectively
Technical Competencies:
2 year technical degree in Industrial Electricity/Electronics preferred, but comparable experience in Electrical field will be considered, based on amount and quality of training and skill sets.
