Job Purpose:
Replacement of Production Quality Engineer will be responsible for driving sustainable excellence in both customer quality and production quality cycle. This is accomplished by providing technical actions within the quality discipline under quality manager leading, and maintaining intense customer focus. In Addition, this position will be responsible for follow up and corrective action for internal quality issues and its responsibility will extend to customer quality issues including communication with Customers.
Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed):
- Serves as engineer representative for quality improvement effort across the organization.
- Has responsibilities to ensure the establishment, implementation and improvement of processes needed
- Ensures the compliance to customer requirements in designated Production & Supplier quality.
- Periodical work report to Plant Manager & CEO in time manner.
- Participating develop TFT plans to support organization goals. Works with team to resolve quality issues and improve given quality performance.
- Create a compelling culture for Quality striving towards quality excellence every day.
- Skill (Cpk, SPC Control)
- APQP Process
- Track Quality issues and CAR (Corrective Action Request)
- Customer interactions to include follow up for customer issues, maintaining customer trust and building rapport, submitting and discussing quality related data/topics with customer, and maintaining customer portals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field
- Understand manufacturing quality management environment.
- Analysis of product failure type
- ISO/TS 16949 and IATF 16949 requirements
- Quality stabilization through dimension / defect improvement
- Internal and external audits
- Reduce quality costs through process improvements
- Customer satisfaction relationship
- Assemble and Machining Quality Experience
Technical Competencies:
- Utilization of Quality Computerized system (Customer Portal, Mando)
- Quality Core Tools – PFMEA, PPAP, SPC, APQP, MSA.
Non-Technical Competencies:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interface effectively for problem solution.
- Must be a self-directed, results driven individual with the ability to effectively drive issues/problems to closure.
