Essential Duties and responsibilities
- Data Collection and Analysis:
- Collaborate with maintenance, production, quality, and engineering teams to collect data and create standard work procedures for equipment, processes, and product lines.
- Occasionally work on various shifts to collect all relevant data.
- Process Improvement:
- Analyze and interpret data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various equipment and processes.
- Project Support:
- Assist in the planning and execution of engineering projects, including process optimization and equipment install.
Qualifications
- Co-op Student enrolled in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Program.
- Excellent people skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams to gather information and solve problems.
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Critical thinker and a team player.
- Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret various data.
- Good computer skills.
- CAD experience would be a plus
