HLK is growing, and we are looking for a Senior Media Strategist to join our team. The Senior Media Strategist serves a critical role in driving media and marketing, researching, planning, stewarding and reporting on our assigned book of work.

Responsibilities
- Works closely with Account Planning teams and any relevant subject matter experts to drive marketing efforts
- Serves as the main media contact with clients on assigned accounts
- Manages all elements of assigned media efforts from start to finish
- Works with internal and external partners to develop media strategy
- Creates, presents and sells through media recommendations to clients at varying levels
- Researches and vets media vendors as well as negotiates media proposals as needed
- Partners with subject matter experts on media recommendations
- Works closely with activation team to ensure buys are implemented correctly
- Manages media budgets and any applicable reallocations
- Works with the Analytics team to develop appropriate measurement plans and reporting
- Monitors performance and makes necessary optimizations throughout the life of a campaign in coordination with activation team
- Stays on top of all media industry trends and shares learnings and insights with internal team and clients
- Consistently strives to find new, innovative and unique media strategies and tactics that break through clutter and deliver significant return on investment
- A minimum of 5 years of media planning/strategy experience with specific deep experience in planning and understanding of digital and traditional channels
- Ability to strategically assess opportunities quickly and make data-driven decisions resulting in tangible improvements in performance
- Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- A strong communicator with effective writing and presenting skills, a positive attitude, and a strong desire to get things done
- A proactive, progressive media expert who is a digital innovator
- Ability to be both strategic and creative
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Must be a team player
