The Construction Foreman will be on the front lines of taking our customer’s wishes and bringing them to a reality. Our Construction Foreman will be responsible to lead a team in the implementation of projects and will assist with snow & ice management operations during the winter months.
Essential Functions:
- HIGHLY ENERGETIC & MOTIVATED
- Managing a crew of Technicians, including but not limited to providing direction, training, and coaching
- Maintaining and operating various equipment and tools
- Thoroughly understands all aspects of landscape, carpentry & construction such as
- Operating equipment
- Demolition
- Site prep
- Grading
- Framing
- Painting
- Building patios, decks, outdoor kitchens, structures, pools & water features
- Ability to operate company equipment: skid steer, mini-excavator, mini-skid-steer and misc equipment
- Has the leadership capability and demeanor to effectively manage and direct a crew of people
- Ability to perform all daily preventative maintenance on company equipment
- Physical ability to lift and work outdoors in various climate elements such as rain, mud and snow. WE WORK IN IT ALL
- Ability to complete all paperwork and administrative requirements related to the job
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License
- CDL is a plus but not required
- Clean driving record that would allow the employee to be covered on the company’s vehicle insurance
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 80lbs frequently
- Ability to lift up to 150lbs with assistance and equipment
- Ability to walk and work on uneven terrain
- Ability to work in a field environment with exposure to dust, inclement/adverse weather conditions, extreme heat and cold
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment
