We currently have an opening for a Maintenance Technician in our Guntown, MS location.
Summary:
- Repairs and maintains plant equipment
What you will be doing:
- Receives work instructions from General Supervisor in Maintenance
- Operates drills, saws, grinders, etc. to repair or make parts for equipment such as jigs, gears, staple guns, etc.
- Installs water and air lines and makes repairs on air compressors or boilers.
- Assists electrician in installing and maintaining electrical system in the plant
- Installs new plant equipment when necessary. Oils and greases tools, air compressors, sanding machines, etc.
- Checks on fire extinguishers, pumps, tanks, etc. as part of the safety program. Practices good safety habits, as well as performs duties in accordance with lockout/tagout training procedures.
- Performs all duties related to welding, including selecting proper materials and operates acetylene and electric welding equipment to repair or rebuild parts.
- Performs other duties as required by supervisor.
What we are looking for:
- Knowledge about manufacturing line type environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to submit to a Drug test and background investigation

Pay range is $21.25 - 22.75 / hour.
