Working Account Manager / Janitorial SupervisorThe Account Manager / Janitorial Supervisor is a working position that performs cleaning duties and supervises the work activities of janitorial staff on all shifts at our client's facility. Duties include but are not limited to : Assigning work tasks to the staff, inspecting work, investigating and correcting customer complaints regarding janitorial services, training employees, coaching and counseling on performance, and recommending terminations when necessary.Normal work schedule is 8 : 00 am until 4 : 30 pm Monday through Friday. Variations in this schedule may be needed based on circumstances or business needs.ESSENTIAL DUTIES : Maintain good client relations.Resolve all customer issues in a timely manner.Participate in interviewing, make hiring decisions, and train new hires.Enforces policy and procedures. May be required to discipline, suspend or terminate employees.Maintains distribution and delivery of supplies and equipment to custodial staff.Ability to provide leadership to the janitorial teamMonitor and inspect to ensure quality control expectations are metManage expenditures such as labor and supplies to budgetManage schedules to ensure contract complianceReview employee performance and be able to execute training and corrective action plansComplete all quality control programs in accordance with company guidelinesAbility to self-manage daily activities without supervision.Skills and KnowledgeBasic computer knowledgeGood communication and interpersonal skillsGood client / customer service skillsAbility to follow oral and written instructions.Ability to prioritize multiple tasksAbility to work effectively with a team.Ability to work independently as needed to support the group effortBasic knowledge of cleaning products or willing to learn.
