This position is located in the Los Angeles or Ontario, California. The position requires 3 days in the office and the ability to work from home Mondays and Fridays.
Summary
The Senior Marketing Coordinator will support the marketing efforts and will be charged with crafting compelling stories and effective marketing collateral aligned with HMC's vision that delivers value to clients. They will act as a strategic partner and be responsible for implementing marketing strategies and processes in partnership with the marketing team to accelerate top-line growth and differentiation in the marketplace.
The Senior Marketing Coordinator will assist with the development of architectural pursuits to further market-specific and firm goals. Knowledge of administration and professional services marketing methods and techniques and ability to assist the marketing team's efforts to craft compelling content.
Position Responsibilities
Proposal and Pursuit Presentations (55%) :
- Work closely with the marketing team, champions, designers, and Principals to develop deadline-sensitive deliverables such as proposals, qualifications packages, presentations, and award submissions.
- Prepare content for statements of interest and qualifications, proposals, SF330 forms, collateral materials, miscellaneous marketing, and marketing-oriented correspondence.
- Work with staff to plan, prepare, write, and produce proposal and presentation materials for potential clients.
- Write, edit, research, compile, and QC content from various sources into cohesive marketing materials, including cover letters, resumes, boilerplate information, project descriptions, process narratives, awards narratives, client information, graphics, etc.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to create compelling and easy-to-read submittals (brochures, statements of qualification, proposals, etc.).
- Embrace and implement brand standards.
- Develop text for marketing material by interviewing project personnel and reviewing existing documentation.
- Conduct research, coordinate consultant materials, customize project profiles and team information, and customize graphic layouts for bespoke submittals.
- Manage submittal documents and processes for digital and hard copy submissions.
- Gather research data related to competitors; past, current, and prospective markets; and relevant corporate experience.

Position Requirements
Portfolio including writing samples, graphic examples, and CRM experience will be required upon application.
The salary range for this position is $25.41 to $35.73. The actual offered salary for this position will vary depending on multiple factors including the candidate’s qualification, education, position knowledge, work experience, skills, ability, work location, and internal incumbent compensation for similar roles. We do not anticipate individuals hired into this position will start at or near the top half of the range listed; the decision will be based on each individual case. The salary range listed above does not include other compensation elements such as discretionary bonus opportunities, employee stock ownership grants, paid time off, medical insurance, and other wage and benefit opportunities.
