This position involves supporting various stages of the powder coating process to ensure efficient production and high-quality finishes. Typical responsibilities and requirements include:
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Parts: Clean, prep, and hang parts on racks for the powder coating process.
- Pre-Treatment: Wash parts using pressure washers or other equipment to prepare surfaces for coating.
- Coating Application: Assist in spraying powder coating onto parts, ensuring even coverage and adherence to quality standards.
- Inspection and Quality Control: Conduct secondary inspections prior to shipment to ensure products meet specifications..
- Assembly and Packaging: Assemble kits and package finished products for direct shipment to customers.
- Loading and Unloading: Handle and move objects, including loading and unloading items from the paint line, while following all safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy items (e.g., up to 75 lbs) and work in physically demanding environments, including hot conditions during summer months.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure accurate labeling, verification of orders, and adherence to quality standards.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Experience: Previous manual labor experience is often required; experience in powder coating or related fields is preferred but not always necessary.
About the position:
Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30PM Mon-Thur
