What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tree Climber/Pruning Specialist/Arborist position at HMD Construction Group LLC?
HMD Construction Group is looking for Tree Climber/Pruner/ISA Certified Arborist to join our crew. The Tree Climber/Pruner is responsible for pruning, removal of trees and assisting other crew members with all tasks related to tree removal services.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of pruning techniques
- Ability to climb trees, utilizing saddle and rope
- Knowledge of knots and rigging techniques
- Properly and safety operate equipment and tools such as bucket trucks, lifts, chain saws, chipper truck, different hand tools
- Valid Driver License, CDL
- Assisting other crew members with cleaning job site, chipping, driving, dumping and other assignments, as directed by a project manager
- Knowledge of ANSI standards
- More than 50% of current work is prevailing wage
- Non union, no union dues to pay
- Most work performed in NYC, shop is located in NJ
Salary : $35 - $65
