Job Summary:
HMD is looking to hire full time, skilled and experienced Trailer Mechanics to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing and repairing Semi Trailers.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on Semi - Trailers, including, DOT inspections, replacement of brakes, shocks, slack adjusters and all other trailer axle components;
- Conduct thorough inspections of our trailers to identify potential issues;
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed;
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times;
- Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Trailer Mechanic;
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing trailers;
- Strong knowledge of Semi-Trailers;
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment;
- Certification from a recognized technical school or vocational program is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time.
Pay: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour.
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week.

Experience:
- Semi-Trailer Repair: 1 year (Preferred);
- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred).
Language: English (Required).
