Job Summary :
As an IT Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's IT systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security. In this role, you will collaborate closely with vendors to manage IT procurement, maintenance, and support agreements. Additionally, you will focus on delivering exceptional internal customer service by addressing user concerns and providing technical support. Your expertise will contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our IT operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor and maintain IT systems, including servers, networks, and cloud infrastructure in conjunction with contracted vendors.
- Perform regular system audits and backups to ensure data integrity and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Collaborate with IT vendors to manage procurement, service agreements, and support contracts.
- Evaluate vendor performance, ensuring compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs) and company standards.
- Provide technical support and assistance to internal customers, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
- Develop and maintain documentation for IT systems, processes, and procedures.
- Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects and initiatives, coordinating with vendors as needed.
- Monitor and analyze system performance and usage, making recommendations for improvements.
- Process and log internal customer requests for access, purchase and repair.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, industry regulations, and security best practices.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to inform future strategies.
