HSC, Hospitality Specialty Communications, an HME company, is seeking a dynamic and strategic Regional Sales Manager, North East. The Regional Sales Manager, North East develops, supports, and controls sales of HSC products within the assigned territory. Responsible for meeting annual sales quotas for the territory within the approved budget. This is a hybrid role based out of Carlsbad, CA.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Accounts/Franchisee Business and New Market Opportunities
  • Collaborates with management to establish and execute the annual sales goal for the region
  • Collaborates with regional sales team member(s) to maximize sales revenue to meet or exceed corporate-set goals
  • Forecasts quarterly and monthly sales for region
  • Achieves quota and targets as assigned
  • Maintains minimum sales calls and customer visits as prescribed in compensation plan
  • Enters and updates all sales calls, opportunities and customer visits in the current CRM package
  • Follows-up, qualifies and closes sales leads generated through various mediums such as web leads, tradeshows, brand new store development lists, and inbound calls.
  • Provides feedback to management on competitors based on customer feedback, tradeshow, and site visits
  • Conducts in-store surveys and entering them in the appropriate database
  • Conducts customer training sessions as directed by HSC management
  • Assists other regions as directed by HSC management
  • Submits correct and accurate monthly expense report as prescribed by company policy
  • Additional Business From Existing Accounts
    • Promotes and sells repair and equipment maintenance programs
    • Supports franchisee by attending managers meetings and vendor shows
    • Promotes HSC promotional programs
    • Develops and promotes competitive advantages
    • Resolves price, service, and delivery disputes as required
    • Prepares periodic written status reports on assigned accounts
    • Identifies new opportunities for HSC products by cold-calling potential users, arranging for evaluation systems or equipment for potential users, providing written description of potential application, securing written specification from potential user on equipment needed, and working with marketing personnel through development phase, if required for new product
    • Maintains regular customer contact with key decision makers
    • Acquires new product approvals
    • Prepares periodic written status reports on account activities and opportunities
    • Trade Show Preparation and Attendance
      • Assists in identifying and coordinating trade shows
      • Assists with the setup, tear down, and shipment of trade show booths and equipment
      • Performs live demonstrations of Company products and presents company service programs
      • Prepares trade show status reports on business potential, customer problems, and competitive activities
    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s and 50-75% travel required
    • 3-5 years in direct selling and skilled at equipment demonstrations
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficient at Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and CRM solutions
    • Management skills including contract negotiation/management, product training, account management, developing promotional programs, and developing repair programs
    • Sound working knowledge of electronic principles
    • Proven ability to develop sales professionals
    • Proven ability to deliver on target or above sales results

    The posted pay range, $81,200 - $108,300 plus commission, is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors. Our benefits package includes tuition reimbursement; 3 weeks paid vacation your first year, paid holidays, medical, vision, and dental coverage, pet insurance, life insurance, and 401K contributions.
