The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer and Cardiovascular Technologist will perform diagnostic cardiovascular ultrasound with documentation of anatomic measurements for abnormal or suspicious anatomy. Perform various cardiac and vascular testing, including echocardiogram, carotid duplex scan, venous, and arterial vascular ultrasound studies.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), GED equivalent programs, and/or other Vocational degrees/certificates.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft office and/ or google suite platforms.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
- Graduate of a certified Cardiovascular technology school or graduate of an accredited ultrasonography program with a specialty in Cardiac sonography.
- 1 to 2 years of practical experience in an office or hospital setting is preferred.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer License or Registered Cardiac Sonographer License and Registered Vascular Technologist Certification or Registered Vascular Specilalist Certification.
- AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 30 days of entering position.
