Polysomnographic Tech / Educator
works in conjunction with the Regional Manager, Network Manager, Medical Directors and other Clinicians to provide sleep clinical care and education to patients, their families and the public. Works under the general supervision of the medical director or designee to provide comprehensive education, assist with telemedicine consults, evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders and sleep testing for both the inpatient and outpatient including pulse oximetry, actigraphy, diagnostic testing and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education. In addition to proficiency in all competencies related to sleep technology, the sleep health educator participates with clinical patient education, compliance management, evaluation, diagnostic and therapeutic testing, and home therapy.
