The Supervisor, Faculty Practice provides coverage and support, under the direction of the Director and physician(s) of the practice, coordinates and supervises clerical and/or clinical team members when assigned including but not limited to, scheduling, registration, billing, collection, patient and team member satisfaction, and purchasing. Serves as liaison between the practice and the administration to ensure continuity of care for patients and to provide an optimal patient experience.
This posting is for the following per diem, part time and full time employees of the following practice locations: Advanced Cardiology Institute, Bergen Cardiology Associates, Bergen Invasive Cardiovascular Consultants, Cardiac Medical Associates, Heartcare Center (PA), Montclair Cardiology Group, and Northern New Jersey Cardiology Associates.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience within a medical office and/or health system.
- Must be experienced in reconciling account information
- Moderate understanding of inventory
- Computer skills including data entry, spreadsheets, etc.
- Excellent communication skills; leadership abilities, positive attitude, ability to multitask, organized and
flexibility.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
- Prefer 2-5 years of billing, coding, and collections experience.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- EMR experience preferred
