The Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) will play a critical role in delivering comprehensive care to patients undergoing evaluation and treatment for thoracic conditions in the outpatient setting. Working in close collaboration with thoracic surgeons and the broader care team, the NP / PA will provide outpatient care, pre- and post-operative assessments, care coordination, and patient education.

Qualifications:
NP Qualifications:
• Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in [State]
• National certification (ACNP, FNP, or equivalent)
• Thoracic, surgical, or oncology experience preferred
• Excellent communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills

PA Qualifications:
Knowledge, Education and Skills Required:
- Graduate of a U.S. school accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on the Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA)
- Masters preferred
Knowledge, Education and Skills Preferred:
- At least two years of practice as a surgical Physician Assistant
- Neuroscience experience preferred
- EPIC experience preferred
Required Certification/Licensing:
- NJ Physician Assistant License - P.A.
- NJ Controlled Dangerous Substances Physician Certification - C.D.S.
- Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate - DEA
