What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician Assistant Urology Surgery position at HMHMG SPECIALTY CARE 570?
The Urology Physician Assistant assists, monitors, and manages the day-to-day needs of patients as requested by, in conjunction with, and under the supervision of a physician. Performs the duties and responsibilities of a Physician Assistant according to customary and generally accepted medical standards. Prior Surgical or urology experience preferred. This position is 10 hour shifts and flexible hours. The weekend requirement is 1 weekend per month with the opportunity for additional hours if desired.
This position includes approximately 20 patients per day including new consults and follow ups.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 1. Successful completion of an approved physician¿s assistant program, accredited by the AMA Council on Medical Education. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: Licenses and Certifications Required: 1. Physician Assistant License. 2. Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification required
