Duties And Responsibilities

Director of Operations and Supply Chain is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the manufacturing operations, purchasing and supply chain functions within the organization. Here are the key duties, responsibilities, and qualifications associated with this role:

• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Translates business strategies into operational plans, considering business priorities.
• Responsible for managing the annual planning process (AOP) and budgets for operations and supply chain.
• Responsible for the P&L of manufacturing and supply chain
• Responsible for leading the companies SIOP process.
• Leads the companies Continuous Improvement program.
• Manages all inbound and outbound product logistics.
• Leads supplier selection & negotiation activities.
• Responsible for overseeing the company’s quality program and compliance to industry standards.
• Recommends CapEx needs.
• Oversees the company’s maintenance and preventative maintenance programs.
• Motivating the team to achieve objectives and targets.
• Organizing training programs to enhance job skills and knowledge.
• Builds and maintains effective working relationships with various levels in the organization.
  
  

Qualifications

• Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or Finance degree required.
• MBA preferred.
• Strong, demonstrated, hands on working knowledge of Lean manufacturing.
• Strong understating of ERP/MRP systems
  
  

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $175,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
