Who is HAP Transportation?
HAP Transportation has been around since 2010 and is a part of a larger non-profit organization that serves the immigrant and refugee communities. We drive for area charter schools, and we are happy to say that we transport some of the best-behaved students around!

Position Responsibilities
- Safely transport children to and from school and on field trips according to scheduled times and routes.
- Operate the school bus or van in a safe and effective manner at all times in order to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life.
- Maintain order and security on the bus and obey all laws, regulations, and rules of conduct.
- Maintain discipline on the bus, and document any behavioral/discipline issues
- Ensure that the school bus or van is in good operating condition, at all times
- Maintain fuel level at a half tank in order to keep the vehicle at maximum efficiency and usage.
- Complete a thorough inspection of the bus or van before every trip. Accurately and thoroughly complete a Pre-Trip Inspection form that is signed and dated and submit to delegated staff person.
- Perform minor maintenance duties as well as clean the bus or van as scheduled and/or required, including keeping bus free of debris, sweeping, dusting and cleaning windows.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Drivers are required to meet all DOT requirements including maintaining a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass drug test, background check and driving record check.
- Must be 21 years of age or older and have had a driver's license for three or more years
- 1 year of school bus driving experience preferred
- Valid Class B CDL license with school bus and passenger endorsements
Salary : $26 - $30
