JOB DESCRIPTION
PRIMARY JOB EXPECTATIONS
- Customer service - providing fast, friendly, sincere and immediate service to all customers.
- Prepping and Cooking - in a efficiently, with quality while reducing wastage.
- Employee appearance - maintain a clean, well-groomed appearance, wearing your uniform and a legible name tag.
- Cleanliness - maintain a clean store facility, inside and out, at all times.
- Serving and packaging - Serve and package food for sale.
- Must be able to work Monday through Saturday 3:30am to 10:30am
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide superior customer service
- Greet customers with a friendly smile and provide them with prompt, courteous service.
- Offer extra assistance and handle any customer comments, complaints, or suggestions as instructed by management.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships by recognizing your regular customers as well as newcomers, learning their names, and remembering their favorite items.
Developing talent
- Work to achieve maximum productivity daily.
- Assist other employees with questions and proper procedure as necessary.
- Train new associates on store procedures as needed.
- Delegate shift-related tasks as necessary.
Store tasks & responsibilities
- Complete specific tasks as assigned by the store supervisor or owner/manager.
- Observe shift operating hours at all times and follow the work schedule as posted,
- Protect company assets at all times by following control policies.
- Prep, cook and order both for Krispy Krunchy chicken and Papa Johns Pizza
- Perform inventory counts on departments assigned by supervisors.
- Complete the daily shift checkout and paperwork.
- Maintain area cleanliness standards both inside and outside the facility.
- Follow proper safety techniques/guidelines and encourage others to do the same.
Communication
- Advise store supervisor and/or manager of any personnel situations or policy violations having an adverse effect on store operations.
- Report all accidents, maintenance issues, and customer incidents to store supervisor and/or manager immediately and complete proper paperwork.
- Communicate, as policy dictates, when unable to work a scheduled shift.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the previously listed essential duties satisfactorily. In addition, the requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, ability, and/or personal characteristics required for a qualified Resturant agent.
Mathematical skills:
- Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations at the eighth-grade level.
Language skills:
- Must be able to speak, read, understand, and write the English language at the eighth-grade level.
Mental skills:
- Must be able to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
- Must be able to resolve job-related problems in a professional manner.
- Must be able to set priorities for self, as well as others, if leading a shift.
- Must be able to keep things organized and have good time management capabilities.
Physical skills & abilities:
- Must be able to tolerate Resturant environments (cooking, heat, food smells)
- Must be able to enter and work in a cooler at the temperature of 30°(or below) for extended periods of time
- Must be able to stretch and reach and to stand for a minimum of eight hours at a time.
- Must be able to lift and stock cases of (beverages and petroleum) products that can weigh up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be able to reliably get to and from work.
Personal characteristics:
- Must be able to work alone, as well as with others.
- Must have good personal hygiene.
- Must be dependable, including reporting for work on time.
- Must have high levels of integrity and honesty.
- Must be safety conscious and flexible (able to adapt to change).
- Must be able to work the days and hours required, based on the demands of business and the store.
