What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shuttle Bus Driver position at HMV-Properties Charlotte NC?
Reports to: Operations Manager/Front Office Manager /General Manager
Requirements: Valid driver’s license with a good clean record,
21 Years of age minimum
Excellent customer service skills.
Good communication skills – Must speak/read/write English.
General Responsibilities:
- Shuttle drivers are responsible for escorting arriving and departing guests to and from their accommodations. They assist guests with their luggage and other belongings during the journey.
- Shuttle drivers must operate the vehicle in accordance with all local, state, and federal traffic laws. Ensuring the safety of passengers is a top priority. They maintain a safe transportation environment for all guests.
- Shuttle Maintenance:
- Drivers are also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the shuttle. Regular cleaning and upkeep are essential. Additionally, they complete daily safety reports to ensure the shuttle remains in good condition.
- Specific Routes:
- Shuttle drivers maintain specific transportation routes throughout the hotel property. This includes shuttling guests to and from the airport, local attractions, or other designated locations.
- Additional duties assigned when not driving shuttle.
- Laundry as needed.
- House people’s duties.
- Light Maintenance as needed
- Exterior of building & grounds cleanliness.
Work Environment:
- Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
- Lifting heavy boxes & equipment between 15-50lbs accessing high areas and shelving by steps or a ladder or similar equipment.
