What We Need:
We are looking for Accountants to join our Finance and Accounting Early Career Development Program (ECDP)! New hires will start in June 2025.
What You Will Do:
In the Finance and Accounting Early Career Development Program, you will be a part of a talented team of financial professionals helping to drive strategic initiatives and provide insights for business decision making.
New members can expect three assignments in varying areas of the business within the first eighteen months gaining valuable core knowledge and experience. Members will find a broad range of growth opportunities across HNI and its operating companies.
Experiences in the Finance and Accounting ECDP include high visibility to leadership, networking opportunities through Lunch and Learns, and skills training!
Finance and Accounting ECDP members may work in Corporate, Operations or Commercial functions including, but not limited to:
- General and consolidation accounting
- Sales and operations
- Data management
- Integrating external and internal data sets to utilize in analytical projects
- Corporate accounting services such as payroll and accounts payable
- Business and competitor analysis
- Planning and budgeting
- Management reporting
- Plant and cost accounting
- Inventory Control
- Internal Audit or Internal Controls
What You Have:
- Prospective candidates are required to hold a BA or MA in Accounting or Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting, prior to their start date.
- Minimum 2.8 GPA
- Preference will be given to applicants with relevant work experience, internships, or involvement in related activities such as tutoring or business fraternities.
What You’re Good At:
- Possesses strong computer skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel; familiarity with Power BI is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Effective collaborator with team members
- Proactive and driven, exhibiting a strong sense of initiative. A leader among peers.
