Job Title: 2nd Shift Group Leader
This role is an on-site opportunity in Muscatine, IA, with relocation available for the right candidate.
We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to join our team, where you'll enjoy competitive compensation and bonus opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead team efforts to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Facilitate meaningful discussion with the team and ensure visual management is relevant
- Work collaboratively with the team to manage daily staffing requirements and make adjustments as needed
- Monitor progress towards goals and communicate gaps to ensure timely resolution
- Conduct daily 5S and safety walks to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
- Partner with MCR to address issues and concerns
- Collaborate with internal customers to deliver high-quality results and meet daily expectations
- Investigate quality concerns using the 8D method to identify root causes
- Complete other standard work as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Organizational/Business Management, or a related field preferred
- 1-3 years of direct labor supervision experience in manufacturing, distribution, retail, or customer service, with lean manufacturing experience strongly preferred
