About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to join our team in Muscatine, IA. As a Production Supervisor with HNI Corporation, you will have the opportunity to lead a dynamic team and drive results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize team efforts to deliver key performance indicators
- Lead meetings with the team to ensure visual management is relevant and effective
- Collaborate with the team on daily staffing requirements and manage changes as needed
- Monitor progress towards goals and communicate any gaps or areas for improvement
- Conduct daily 5S and safety walks to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
- Partner with other departments to resolve issues and concerns
- Work with internal customers to achieve daily delivery and quality expectations
- Investigate root causes of quality concerns using 8D methodology
- Complete other standard work tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Organizational/Business Management, or a related field is preferred
- 1-3 years of direct labor supervision experience in manufacturing, distribution, retail, or customer service is required, with lean manufacturing experience strongly preferred
