What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Learning & Development Trainer position at HNI Corporation?
- Facilitate live learning, including training sessions, webinars and on-boarding events, to drive and support intended business outcomes
- Apply strong presentation and advanced PowerPoint skills, coupled with application of adult learning principles, to engage, motivate, and inspire learners
- Assist in the development of new training content associated with the introduction of new products and/or services
- Maintain existing training content and develop training curriculum in conjunction with key internal stakeholders
- Facilitate in-person and online training on professional development topics for internal members
- Maintain a high level of business and industry acumen to ensure learning targets are achieved
- Engage in self-study to stay current with new training methods, programs and techniques of competitors, and changes in the marketplace while developing skills to enhance teaching and training
- Serve as an ambassador of HNI Workplace Furnishings furniture brands and field sales organizations
- Participate in events and activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Education, or related field required.
- At least 3 years of progressive training and content development experience required.
