What We Need
We are looking for a Finance Manager ID&A to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings team.
This role will work closely with the Product Marketing department to develop and execute business cases for new product launches, ensuring that investment decisions align with our strategic goals. The ID&A Manager will also oversee and guide a team of analysts, driving data-driven decision-making to support the company’s growth and innovation initiatives.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate with the Product Marketing team to assist in creating business cases for new product launches.
- Support the investment decision-making process by providing analytical support, including validating assumptions, sensitivity analyses, cost-benefit evaluations, and calculating potential return on investment (ROI) and payback for new products.
- Ensure that all investment decisions align with the company’s long-term strategy and business objectives.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership on product launch feasibility, profitability, and resource allocation.
- Track and report on the performance of new product launches, assessing post-launch results against initial business case projections.
- Continuously evaluate and improve investment decision-making processes, ensuring that best practices are followed.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging market opportunities.
- Manage and mentor a team of analysts, providing guidance and support on data analysis, financial modeling, and investment recommendations.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture, encouraging innovation and critical thinking.
- Oversee team workload management, ensuring that business cases and investment analyses are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Bachelors degree in Finance or related field required.
- At least 3 years of finance experience required; 5 years of functional experience preferred.
- At least 2 years of people management/leadership experience preferred.
