We are looking for a Bilingual (Spanish) HR Representative to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings - Operations team in Muscatine, IA!
Officially titled “MCR” – Member and Community Relations – our MCR Representatives are part of a strong team of human resource professionals, whose roles encompass many facets of member relations, recruitment and performance development, and strategic organizational team building. As an MCR professional in our manufacturing facilities, you will be very active with a strong plant-floor presence, requiring a high level of engagement, creativity, and passion for helping others while supporting the objectives of the organization! These roles provide ample opportunity to make significant personal and organizational impact and offer great potential for growth and development for years to come.
What You Will Do:
- Administer various human resource tasks and functions, supporting the members of the plant or distribution facility.
- Support and drive member engagement activities and initiatives to facilitate productivity and retention.
- Partner with Production Leaders, and your MCR team members to build organizational capabilities that enable the facility and company to reach its goals.
- Utilize MCR operational best practices to provide immediate solutions to resolve issues around members and business leaders.
- Execute Talent Management processes around workforce planning, talent recruitment and on-boarding, performance and leadership development, and succession management.
What You Have:
- Bilingual in Spanish is a requirement of this position.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required, in Human Resources, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience applicable to or in human resources, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interactive productively with hourly production members as well as managers and leaders of the organization.
- Self-motivated and able to handle multiple competing tasks.
