As the Manufacturing Director for Flow, your leadership will directly influence our objectives around Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost, driving outstanding customer satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities Will Include :
- Drive Improvement in SQDC Performance : Enhance safety metrics, including TRIR and workers' compensation costs, while coaching teams on quality management, developing strong problem-solving processes, and meeting budget targets.
- Optimize Material and Information Flows : Create and manage model areas to set material standards and work with teams to refine production scheduling and material control processes.
- Develop Leadership Talent : Mentor and build leadership capabilities to meet organizational growth and demands.
- Ensure Clarity in Communication : Articulate expectations clearly to minimize misunderstandings and rework.
- Provide Coaching and Strategic Alignment : Coach team members on issue resolution, strategy alignment, and process improvement.
- Monitor Operations Management Execution : Be present on the shop floor, conducting audits and fixing process breakdowns.
- Coordinate Workforce Adjustments : Partner with senior leadership to align staffing with production forecasts.
- Influence Resource Prioritization : Direct resources effectively to meet performance metrics and achieve cost improvements.
- Foster Team Unity and Engagement : Encourage a culture of accountability where team behaviors align with organizational processes.
- Address Leadership and Process Gaps : Tackle leadership inexperience and enhance cooperation across functions.
