This opportunity entails being responsible for managing staff, budget management, managing work flows, presentation creation, low level operations, LiDAR collection, extraction of point cloud data, conventional topography mapping creation, targeting plan creation, digital level reports, preparing drawings with TopoDOT / Microstation / OpenRoads, complex registration of point cloud data using Trimble Business Center and PosPAC, LiDAR point cloud extraction with high accuracy, Able to lead a team, Scope and Fee generation, the completion of level 4 QC, conducts self in a professional meeting settings, holds schedule team meetings, trains incoming staff assist in other aspects of plan preparation such as information gathering and data. Focus of tasks will generally be related to specific Surveying / Engineering sub-type. Other tasks as assigned
What You’ll Do:
Develops non-routine and complex plans, specifications, and reports.
Develops and implements operations procedures, methods and work systems to ensure effective and efficient internal operations.
Incorporates and compiles multiple sub-plans/designs into consolidated master plan.
Coordinates assignments with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
Has substantial interaction/coordination with clients and sub-contractors.
Responsible for the promotion, discipline, performance review, work allocation, training/continued education and mentoring of staff.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
Associate of Science or Technical School and 12 years relevant experience
4 years supervisory or leadership experience
In lieu education, 14 years relevant experience
What You’ll Bring:
Proficient in managing staff, budget management, the terminology and symbols used in survey notes, conventional topo creation, complex point cloud extraction, complex point cloud registration.
Proficient in MicroStation platforms
Proficient in point cloud registration
Proficient in point cloud extraction
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Proficient in tracking budgets
Proficient in leading a team of employees
What We Prefer:
Professional Surveyors License
ASPRS Certified
20 years Experience
