The Role : Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the Family Office Accounting Associate will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing the financial operations of the family office. This position offers an exciting growth trajectory, with opportunities to advance to Senior Associate within 1-1.5 years and ultimately take on a leadership role within 3-5 years.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lender Reporting : Prepare and manage lender reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Financial Reporting : Oversee financial reporting, including intercompany accounts, investment assessments, and financial statement preparation.
- Investment Assessments : Take ownership of investment analysis and reporting, using advanced Excel skills to manage complex, formula-heavy spreadsheets.
- Bookkeeping and Financial Operations : (If applicable) Handle bookkeeping, account reconciliations, AP, close processes, and financial reporting.
- Process Optimization : Structure accounting books, improve intercompany account management, and provide big-picture analysis to drive strategic decisions.
- Collaborative Projects : Partner with team members on special projects and provide insights to enhance financial strategy.
