Cage Cashier

Job Overview
Responsible for the daily activities within the Cage Department including but not limited to cash transactions, proper documentation and following the appropriate procedures which ultimately enhancers every interaction for our guests and employees; customer service is our top priority for both internal and external guests.

Responsibilities

• · Works with an inventory of tokens and/or cash.
• · Exchanges patron’s currency for coins, gaming chips for tokens and redeems patron’s tokens for cash.
• · Completes associated accountability forms and documents.
• · Handles currency by counting, securing, issuing or exchanging.
• · Will verify the opening inventory, verify drawer contents, verify tokens/chips and setup equipment prior to opening cage window.
• · Ensure that workplace is neat and clean for efficiency.
• · Complete Exchange and Window Count Procedure at end of shift.
• · Responsible for cash shortages/overages in accordance with the various policy.
• · Must be neat in appearance. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• 1. MUST BE BONDABLE.
• 2. Ability to accurately use a calculator and other office machines as required.
• 3. Must have demonstrated competence in mathematical skills, knowledge of accounting procedures and cash handling ability. Must be trustworthy.
• 4. Must have working knowledge of gaming operation.
• 5. Effectively represent the gaming enterprises in public and follow the chain of command.
• 6. Reads, writes and understands English.
• 7. Cannot be color-blind. Must have good eyesight. Must have dexterity in both hands.
• 8. Infrequent lifting of up to 100 pounds. Primary lifting requirements is 10 - 25 pounds on a consistent basis.
• 9. Must be able to walk, stoop, bend and stand for long periods of time.
• 10. One to three years of appropriate experience.
• 11. Must have high school diploma or GED.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.92 - $17.90 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
