Job Summary:
The Senior Business Analyst will play a critical role in the Mainframe Transformation Program for the Client. This position supports the implementation of complex, emerging technology hardware and software projects, including SaaS/COTS applications, data migration, and data warehouse development.
The selected candidate will perform advanced business analysis across multiple interrelated projects. Responsibilities include gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing business processes, leading user acceptance testing (UAT), and supporting change management. The role requires minimal supervision and a high degree of initiative, collaboration, and independent judgment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis efforts for the implementation of enterprise systems, data migration, and integration projects.
- Elicit and document business and functional requirements using interviews, workshops, use cases, process maps, and data models.
- Work with business and technical teams to translate requirements into system specifications and actionable deliverables.
- Facilitate interactive sessions with cross-functional teams to validate requirements and align on technical solutions.
- Support all phases of the SDLC including design, testing (with a focus on UAT), training, and implementation activities.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production support issues and document fixes for continuous improvement.
- Ensure all documentation is complete, high-quality, and aligned with established methodologies and frameworks.
- Create visual aids such as workflow diagrams, screen mock-ups, and wireframes using tools like Visio, SnagIt, Adobe Illustrator, or Axure.
- Collaborate with project teams to support successful delivery of project milestones and goals.
- Provide mentorship or oversight to junior analysts or smaller workgroups as required.
