This role requires extensive experience in ETL development, data integration, and performance optimization. The developer will provide technical leadership, perform complex data aggregation and analysis, and ensure the seamless integration of data across multiple systems.
The position is part of the IT-SEDS (Information Technology – Statewide Education Data System) team and follows an Agile-based Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process for code releases.

Requirements
- Convert IBM DataStage jobs into SSIS jobs, ensuring compatibility and performance optimization.
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes for data integration and data mapping.
- Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views across Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.
- Utilize PowerShell or other scripting languages for automation and ETL process improvements.
- Identify and resolve ETL performance bottlenecks, ensuring data integrity and efficiency.
- Document development processes, ETL workflows, and data structures.
- Conduct unit testing and debugging to validate data accuracy and system performance.
- Collaborate within an Agile development team, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews.
- Provide technical leadership and insights on best practices for ETL development and data integration.
