PHARMACIST STAFF I - PHARMACY
Department: Allied Health Status: Full Time Shift: 1st Remote or Onsite: Onsite Location:Newport Beach, CA, US, 92617
Salary Range: $67.1400 - $103.2200 /hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Provides pharmaceutical services to the hospital’s inpatients and outpatients. Compounds and dispenses pharmaceutical preparations and acts as a source of drug information to all members of the health care team. Accurately reviews and accurately interprets physician orders. Enters medication orders into the computer. Monitors for stat medications. Checks for accuracy of tasks performed by others. Always able to prepare complex pharmaceutical admixtures. Projects an image of professionalism in communication, appearance and conduct. Maintains a working knowledge of departmental standard operating procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
Graduation from a pharmacy program with at least a B.S. degree required
Pharmacy experience or graduation from an ASHP-accredited residency program preferred
Fulfills mandatory stroke education requirements per certification agency
License Required
Valid license to practice pharmacy in the State of California
Certifications Required
Basic Life Support (BLS)
