Salary Range : $50.0900-$77.0300 / hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.
The Nuclear Medicine Technologists of the Nuclear Medicine and / or Molecular Imaging & Therapy departments are state and nationally registered professionals who possess the required skills and judgment necessary to obtain quality nuclear medicine studies. The Technologist I will work under the supervision of the Technical Supervisor and the Nuclear Medicine Radiologist to perform routine nuclear medicine procedures. This includes educating the patient and / or family about the procedure, administering radiopharmaceuticals, positioning the patient for accurate and clear images, and providing post-procedure instructions. The Technologist accurately documents all patient information in the appropriate systems. All Nuclear Medicine Technologist positions may require call responsibility and rotation to hospital adjacent imaging center locations. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Associates Degree or higher.
- Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine program required.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years continuous experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Prior PET / CT experience is preferred.
