What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician Assistant position at Hoangvy Le, M.D.?
Responsibilities :
Provide primary care services to patients of all ages, including adolescents, adults, and seniors
Perform comprehensive physical examinations and assessments
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and imaging studies
Prescribe medications and other treatments
Develop and implement patient care plans
Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and self-care techniques
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
Skills :
Public health : Knowledge of public health principles and practices to promote the well-being of individuals, families, and communities
Triage : Ability to assess the urgency of a patient's condition and prioritize care accordingly
Procedures : Skill in performing laceration repair, incision and drainage, joint injections, and ingrown toenails.
Efficiency : Ability to see at least 4 patients an hour.
Communcation : Good communication skills with patients and staff. Vietnamese speaking would be a plus!
Please note that other duties may be assigned based on the needs of the healthcare facility.
