We are seeking an experienced full-time Accounting Assistant. The ideal candidate must have good written and verbal communication, organizational and people skills. Prior experience in accounts payable, payroll and general accounting is a plus.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Accounts Payable – provide payment research support, process invoice payments.
- Payroll – provide assistance with gathering payroll hours and data entry for each payroll period.
- Annual Audits – Work with independent auditors to provide annual audit reports and information necessary for them to conduct their annual audits for the associations.
- New Property Transitions – Set up newly acquired communities. Import homeowner information, communicate with vendors, transition utility ACH’s, etc.
- Terminated Property Transitions – Coordinate the transfer of information to the new management company.
- GL Coding and scanning documents
- Clerical Tasks and Administrative Support: filing, labeling, archiving and other general office duties as necessary with relation to accounts payable.
- Computer knowledge to include Excel, Adobe and Microsoft
Hours: Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
