Job Summary:
Hobaica Services, a trusted leader in home and commercial comfort solutions in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking an organized and customer-oriented Plumbing Dispatcher. The ideal candidate will manage the daily scheduling and dispatching of our skilled plumbing technicians, ensuring efficient service and seamless customer experience. This role is vital to maintaining our high standard of service, offering fast and reliable solutions to plumbing issues.
Note – this is an In-office position, on call rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispatch & Scheduling: Organize and dispatch plumbing technicians for residential and commercial service calls, ensuring timely and efficient execution of jobs.
- Customer Interaction: Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, providing updates on job status and estimated technician arrival times.
- Work Order Management: Accurately log service calls into the system, assign them to the appropriate plumbing technician, and track the progress of each job.
- Job Prioritization: Handle emergency service requests and urgent repairs by prioritizing jobs, while keeping other appointments on schedule.
- Route Optimization: Use dispatching software and GPS systems to plan the most efficient routes for technicians to minimize travel time and maximize productivity.
- Field Communication: Maintain ongoing communication with plumbing technicians to provide job updates, directions, and logistical support.
- Sub-Contractor: Work with sub-contractors and coordinate projects and job information
- Inventory Coordination: Coordinate with our supply team to ensure technicians have the necessary tools and parts for each job.
- Administrative Duties: Keep accurate records of service calls, technician performance, and customer interactions in the system.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a dispatching role or customer service, preferably within the HVAC or related trades industry.
- Strong communication skills with customers, team members, dispatch, and management.
