Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics

Description The Department of Physics at Hobart and William Smith Colleges invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor to begin August 1, 2025. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, one-year position with a teaching load of five or six courses. The Physics Department at Hobart & William Smith Colleges seeks faculty who are committed to increasing diversity within academia. With an enrollment of approximately 1,850, HWS provides a rigorous curriculum from which students choose two areas of concentration from a wide array of majors and minors, and offer three Master’s programs. Creative and extensive programs of international study and public service are also at the core of our mission. The salary range for this position is $46,036 - $63,499.
