Our Team
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Part-Time Host/Hostess to join our team at One Bistro. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Job Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and seating guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Managing reservations and maintaining the seating chart
- Monitoring restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow
- Providing excellent customer service and responding to guest inquiries
- Performing opening and closing duties, as needed
- Taking and maintaining reservations and the guest information database on the Open Table reservation system
- Taking/packaging to go orders
- Assisting others with side work, including cleaning, stocking, and other tasks as needed
- Helping fellow team members and other departments to maintain positive working relationships
- Cleaning and maintaining all menus
- Writing daily specials
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
- One year of restaurant experience preferred but not necessary
- Ability to work evenings and weekends, including holidays
