We are seeking qualified candidates to serve as Crossing Guards for the upcoming school year at Lansing USD 469.
Position Overview
Lansing USD 469 is a thriving educational community in Kansas, serving approximately 2,500 students across its schools. Our district offers a comprehensive range of educational opportunities from pre-kindergarten through high school, with a focus on continuous staff development and lifelong learning.
Schools and Facilities
We operate six schools:
- Early Childhood Building: Housed in the former elementary school, offering programs like the Early Childhood Program and the Preschool/Daycare Child Center.
- Lansing Elementary School (Opened 2008): Serving children from Pre-kindergarten through third grade.
- Lansing Intermediate School (Renovated in 2018): Catering to grades four and five, including LINCS, a special education transitional program.
- Lansing Middle School: Serving students in grades six through eight and houses our district auditorium.
- Lansing High School (Opened 2015): A state-of-the-art facility accommodating students in grades nine through twelve, equipped with advanced educational spaces and technology.
