Hobby Lobby is seeking candidates to fill future entry-level Buyer Administrative Assistant positions.

As a growing company, this position offers room for growth. Future Buyer Administrative Assistants will collaborate with other admins, buyers and vendors to procure the desired product selection to meet the needs of Hobby Lobby’s customers.
Responsibilities
Place and process purchase orders
Communicate with international and domestic vendors
Communicate with other departments
Track domestic and international shipments
Review and proof product packaging
Generate reports
Provide scheduling assistance
Process documentation
Labeling and maintaining merchandise samples
Vet incoming calls for buyers
Execute other administrative duties
Job Description - Requirements

Can follow established filing methods, such as content, purpose, user criteria, chronological, alphabetical, or numerical order for physical and electronic filling
Actively listen and respond to needs quickly, using problem-solving skills
Understand the importance of deadlines but can pivot quickly
Microsoft Office experience with the following programs : Microsoft Excel abilities matching the description found at the Microsoft Word experience mirroring the description at the Microsoft Outlook skillset in keeping with the description at the
Able to use office equipment such as printer / copier / scanning machines and multi-line phones
Math SkillsUnderstand the basic math functions of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
Must have an accurate and minimum data entry speed of 17 words per minute
Clearly expresses thoughts in written and spoken form.
Education & Experience
Combination of 2 years’ work experience or education in related field
