Oversees and participates in the completion of accurate tax returns in order to keep the company compliant with all filing obligations. Supervises the sales & use tax accounting staff and reports to the Sales Tax Manager.Primary Responsibilities :
- Review of monthly sales & use tax returns for states and cities
- Research and consult on various sales tax matters
- Direct and manage sales & use tax audits across multiple jurisdictions

- Undergraduate degree in accounting
- Supervisory experience
- Three or more years experience in multi-state sales and use tax
- Experience filing multistate sales & use tax returns
- Experience coordinating sales & use tax audits
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to deal effectively with staff, management, outside consultants, and taxing authorities
- Ability to work well with cross-functional teams within the company
- Strong problem solving skills
