As Human Resources Manager, you will lead HR initiatives at their local facility, supporting around 70 employees. From labor relations and employee engagement to payroll and training, you'll ensure day-to-day HR functions run smoothly while helping foster a positive workplace culture.
This is an on-site role with high visibility on the production floor. You'll report to the VP of HR and collaborate closely with the broader HR team.
The Ideal Candidate Possesses:
- 5–7 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment
- Background working with unions, including labor relations and contract administration
- A degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
- A people-first mindset—you’re approachable, friendly, and a natural relationship builder
- Willingness to be present on the shop floor and actively engage with staff
- Ability to manage a wide range of HR responsibilities including employee relations, payroll, onboarding, benefits, compliance, and training
